I'm moved by these beautiful black and white contrast and the graceful movements. Inspiration for our wedding collection, perhaps?

We had so much fun on Sunday! Bonnie Tsang and her daughter Venise was truly a treat to meet. The day started off with a nice lunch at Memphis in Santa Ana and we drove down to Patchwork for a sunny outdoor fun, checking out handmade crafts and local artists. We couldn't get enough of Venise and get over how cute she is!
One of the cool things about the Patchwork was actually meeting some of our favorite bloggers/etsy sellers in person! We met with Dani from oh, hello friend and Myra from double-sided tape!
Before we left, we also got to say hi to Nicole from Random Nicole, Courtney from C Salt Gourmet, and we bumped into Thao Vu, my wedding photographer! Awesome! Can't ask for a better Sunday.
The forecast this Sunday is LOTSA FUN! We're meeting up with the uber talented Bonnie Tsang for a nice lunch on Sunday and we can't wait to meet her adorable daughter! (pictured below) We're just in love with her gorgeous work and are excited to be meeting her in person.
And afterwards, we're hoping to hit up the Patchwork Indie Arts & Crafts Festival in Santa Ana, hosted by Nicole Stevenson of Random Nicole (love her stuff!) and Delilah Snell of Road Less Traveled. It was so much fun the last time I went and I scored a cute hair pin, ceramic bird feeder and enjoyed live music from a local artist. But just to be among all the local crafty vendors and their handmade products was enough reason to go and get inspired.
This past weekend, I had a wonderful first Mother's day. My hubby made me a yummy breakfast on Saturday morning. One of the gifts I got from him was these cool wooden letters that spelled out H-A-N-N-A-H, our baby's name. He knows I'm in my nesting mode now and ready to decorate her walls! So on Sunday, I spent the afternoon mixing colors and painting her name. It's been such a long time since I painted and it was so much fun!
