Back from La La Land

Hello! Sorry, I've been away for a little while to get hitched and embark on our honeymoon. And now I'm back a Mrs.! I can't wait to share all the wonderful pictures with you, but there are so many! Please be patient with me as I play catch up and look through our massive photos and pick out the good ones to share. I don't know what I would have done without Lucy. She's been a busy bee trying to keep D*Lsh afloat and flourishing while I was away. When you see her, please give her a big warm bear hug for doing such a great job!  Thank you, Lucy!!

I wish we were invited to your peony party...

Martha, why didn't you invite us to your peony party? D*LSH would have loved to be there! Imagine us, peony party crasher. Haha. We love love peonies! Look at how big these peonies are?! I didn't know they can get so big. Yeah, these peonies deserve a party. They are sooo pretty you have to celebrate their gorgeousness.

Her  spread looks wonderful too. I really love how she displays each peony on this wonderful copper tray. Such a delightful contrast.

This is a great idea for any type of flowers. If your garden grows a certain type of flower, why not invite your friends and have a party. I'm thinking a plumeria party would be perfect for me. It's magnificent when our plumeria tree blooms. I feel like I'm in Hawaii every time I see it in full bloom! Do I hear a plumeria party at my house? You just might be invited...

i'm really digging this d.i.y. centerpiece that Jessica created. Paper berries and branches. So interesting, inspiring and delightful all at the same time. Oh i can think of so many color combinations and different alternative ways to do this. I love it because it makes me happy just looking at it. If you're curious to how to make it go to her blog.

Friendly Love

Here is one of the hilarious bridal shower games that we played for Henny. Even though it didn't fit into the Indian theme, it didn't matter because it was so fun and funny! If you look at the pictures, there's no need for me to explain myself.

We're Back!

Henny and Patrick's wedding was so much fun, beautiful, sweet and chic just like her. It turned out perfectly. I wish I had some pictures to share wth you of the day, but being the maid of honor, I had so many emergency things that I had stuffed into my save-the-day-maid-of-honor-pouch that I wasn't able to squeeze a camera in. Although I was able to steal one picture of them with my cellphone. So here's a little teaser of what the lovely bride & groom looked like. So adorable aren't they!? You're just going to have to wait for the rest of the pictures when she comes home from Greece. Lucky them!

I never got to show you her bridal shower! So this week I will do a little tribute to her pre-wedding celebration. She had 2 bridal showers and 1 insane bachlorette party. Today I'm going to show you her first bridal shower. It was an Indian / Moraccon themed bridal shower. I decided to go for this theme because I wanted to take her mind away far, far away from her wedding plans into an oasis of color, decadence, delicious food and have her be surrounded with wonderful family and friends.  I really love surprises so I decided to make it a surprise for her too!  She came to one of bridesmaids house thinking that she was going to move furniture. Haha it was great. As you can imagine, she wasn't dressed for the party so we dragged her to bathroom and dressed her up with a sari. She looked like a princess! Here are my favorite details of the shower.

We haven't forgotten about you. This week has been incredibly busy for us, Henny is getting married tomorrow!!!!  So while she is on her honeymoon in Greece next week (I know, I'm so jealous too!), I will be back next week to share her pre-wedding and post-wedding photos *wiping my sweat*. And I'm going to save the wedding day photos for her to share when she comes back. So exciting!
