Anthropologie's Spring Preview Invite - Part 1

Everyone knows Anthropologie's clothing and the the styling of the store is amazing. But what the brilliant minds who create their invites, gift cards and style guide. Here is a peek at one of the invites for their Spring Collection that she designed.This invite was for the press preview of their collection. The type was laser cut and folded up for a unique 3-dimensional effect referencing growth and rejuvenation. Check back tomorrow for the gift cards and packaging that this brilliant designer designed.

Hip Hip Hooray, Lucy!

Today is Lucy's birthday and by the time you read this, she's probably flying over to Hawaii! What a great way to spend your birthday! Before she left, Eva and I surprised her with a mini cupcake celebration. And I gave her a CD by Danny Maika to accompany her on her adventures to the islands with ukulele sounds. I hope she gets a much needed R&R with her fiance and come back refreshed. Love you, Lucy! I'll definitely miss you!

No Screws. No Glue. From Something to Nothing.

I know this has nothing (no pun intended) to do with events and weddings, but about creating a brand. The Nothing studio in Amsterdam was made entirely out of cardboard. They wanted to create a studio "that'll turn their clients into brand advocates", Using cardboard is a really cheap, constructive use of space and materials. The walls also doubles as canvas, where people can leave their mark. Brilliant!

 

Target Inn Wallpapers

This is an oldie, but it's a goodie. 

A few years back, my favorite designers Omnivore, and was-once Avi Adler is now David Stark, and Avidov Adler Studio Inc. teamed up and created such a brilliant brand environment for Target.
